Capturing the Figure in Color and Line Take 2
Adults
Tuesdays 6:30pm-8:30pm
This is a class for both beginners and more experienced students in which we work from a live model. Using watercolor, charcoal, pencil and sumi ink we will learn about proportion, line and form as we closely observe the human figure. In the process we will learn about color mixing and the magical quality of watercolor.
The Collage Still-Life
Adults
Looking at two famous artists, Frida Kahlo and Henri Matisse for inspiration, we will create three different still-life paintings using acrylic paint and collage.
The beauty of collage is that it allows us to move the collaged pieces of paper around the surface of the image so that we can see where they work best. This class will mingle stories from art history while we make unusual and unexpected still-lifes.

Sip and Paint
MUST BE 21 AND OVER
Focusing on a single painting by artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, and Georgia O’Keefe, we will complete a painting each session.
We’re open to suggestions on what to paint, so if you’re feeling an urge to paint a seascape, flowers, a cityscape or something else, let us know and we can do that!
Come and have fun, make new friends, and paint and draw as you drink the beverage of your choice! (BYOB)
