Painting Nature

Ages 16 and up
6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

What in nature moves you? Meeting every other week, we will begin each session by looking at an artist whose work was about their own personal take on nature.

We will talk about the lives of Georgia O’Keeffe, Arthur Dove and Lois Dodd and what inspired them. This will lead us to create our own interpretations of nature both in the school and at home using acrylic on canvas, watercolor, and ink on paper.

We will provide art materials in the school and can make recommendations for materials to use at home.
